How can I remove Avira Free and Endpoint Protection SDK from my computer?
TerminéeI used to have a subscription to Avira Prime. I did not renew that this spring and deleted the program from my computer. However, it now appears that Avira free is still on my computer and is disrupting and even making the installation of new software impossible by quarantining parts of that new software! I have tried everything to remove Avira free from my computer, but have not been successful so far. The solutions for removing Avira free mentioned on your website do not work, because I don't see Avira free listed in any software overview! Could you please tell me how I can solve this problem? My sincere thanks in advance! Yours sincerely, Charles Visser

Hello Charles,
Unfortunately, we cannot get a picture of your problem with the information you have provided. You are writing here in the Avira Community, a publicly accessible forum. We have neither access to your Avira customer account and your Avira installation nor to your installed OS and the current update with exact version numbers - i.e. neither to the Avira licence nor to the OS with version number.
You have not specified which version you used to remove the Prime version. Something does not seem to be correct in your installation, if no Avira licence is displayed in your customer account, then no Avira version should be installed correctly.
The Avira Community is not a way to contact Avira Support directly. See the Avira Community guidelines:Avira Community Guidelines – Official Avira Support | Knowledgebase & Customer Support | Avira
Questions about your Avira version and your installation can unfortunately only be answered by the support team via your customer account in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation by email, i.e. SUPPORT only GDPR-compliant by email with the Support-Team.
Using the search engine of your choice, you can also find descriptions of how to uninstall the Windows Endpoint Protection Service. Here, the Avira Community is an user2user forum. Perhaps someone here will read your post and be able to help you with their experience. Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards and have a nice Sunday
