    Hello,

    you can change your notifications in the settings of your account as described under the following link:

    And here you find the instructions on how to delete your account:

    For GDPR reasons you have to do this on your own. With that way, we can verify that you are the person who is the owner of the account you want to delete.

    @Dominik,

    Your instructions DO NOT WORK for me. I do not have an active subscription. Many, many years ago I tried Avira's free version, which means I have an account.

    Under my account, there are only options for "My profile" and "Sign out".The  My profile menu has no option to remove my account.

    I get emails from Avira I want to stop, but in addition, I want to remove all userid, password, and other information from Avira's databases online or offline.

    The emails have an "Unsubscribe" option at the bottom, but it doesn't go to an unsubscribe or remove option. It invites me to chase link after link, none of which seems to allow me to remove my information, or even unsubscribe from the emails.

    Hello Harry,

     

    to delete your Account you need to login to your MyAvira Account and then on My Account / My Profile.

    Now there should be a tab called "Data & Settings". Please click on it and now if you scroll to the bottom a little bit you have the possibility to delete your account with the red text "Delete my account".

    In additional to it you dont should get mails anymore.
