Virus check deleted lots of my files

Permanently deleted user

I used to keep lots of my art files on the desktop, and avira deleted folders full of them. I've not been and looked to see if they're quarantined or deleted, because I was so shocked, and been putting it off.

Will it be easy to get them back? No, I didn't have backups.

  It would be nice if you could provide more details, but to answer your question further information is needed.
  Have you checked in the meantime whether they have been quarantined or deleted?
  If they are quarantined, you can have them checked again and then restore them, see the instructions:
