"Check for updates" not working
TerminéeI recently noticed that while my Avira Antivirus is up and running, and working as it should be (and that my antivirus protection is on), it hasn't updated in the past five days.
I've tried clicking "check for updates", but every time I try, my cursor just circles for a few seconds and nothing happens.
I've tried looking into the Run menu (pressing the Windows key + R), but there's nothing wrong there, as far as I can tell.
After looking quickly through my Avira settings, I now notice that the auto-update function is off; would switching it on help to get updates again?
Thank you very much for any help.
EDIT: If I hover over the Avira icon in my tray, it always says "Last update: Today", and that it's protected.
If there's a way to get the "check for updates" in the dashboard to work, I'd greatly appreciate the help.
