    Since the repair installation (Did you follow these instructions?)
    Repair your Avira Security for Windows – Official Avira Support | Knowledgebase & Customer Support | Avira
    did not work, we would recommend that you uninstall it:
    Uninstallation of Avira for Windows – Official Avira Support | Knowledgebase & Customer Support | Avira
    and then reinstall Avira Free Security.

    Please describe a little more precisely what you mean by this:

    The old version of interface (startui.exe file) also does not start.

     

    What should I do if Avira Real-time, Web or Mail protection stops? – Official Avira Support | Knowledgebase & Customer Support | Avira

    Also, constantly reports: "Real-time protection is stopped"

    Hello pascha

    Thank you for your help  with my problem. A full reinstallation of Avira helped. Antivirus Manager now runs from the system tray. I was very pleased that avira_registry_cleaner now works correctly. For several years it did not cope with its task and left several keys not removed.

    Unfortunately, I still see a few problems that I could not solve. Sometimes the antivirus icon disappears from the system tray. This often happens a few minutes after launch. Also, the new version of the antivirus does not open a status window (Luke Filewalker) when running a full system scan from the Scan scheduler. I wrote about this before:

    This is important to me. Then you advised me to use the old UI: 

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Avira\Antivirus\startui.exe

    And it helped. A full scan, scheduled in the old version, launched a window "Luke Filewalker".

    But now this utility no longer opens the old version

    Some changes have been made. If the report of the Luke file scan is important to you, you can download it at

    C:\ProgramData\Avira\Antivirus\LOGFILES

    Under AVSCAN  you can find the scans by date. Maybe this will help you a bit.

    Hello pascha.

    Thanks for the answer. I am interested in the opportunity to see the process of scanning. I scheduled a late-night scan every week. And I want to see when the scan is over and I can already turn off the computer. Now I can either observe the scan here:

    Windows Task Manager => Processes

    which is not very convenient.

    Or run a full scan manually, then Luke Filewalker starts correctly. However, the second method, I sometimes forget to do it:(

    So I will be very happy if Luke Filewalker run from the scheduler.
