Automatic Quarantine
TerminéeSome programs I write myself get automatically quarantined when I run them. How do I set Avira up to not quarantine automatically but rather ask me what to do with a file before quarantining so I don't have to go though the rigamarole of unquarantining then figuring out how to prevent it in the future?

Hello Walt,
Have you already tried to have the offending programme checked again? See here:
How do I submit suspicious files and URLs to Avira Virus Lab? – Official Avira Support | Knowledgebase & Customer Support | Avira
You should be able to check how the settings are offered in your Avira version based on your installation. Unfortunately, we do not have access to your customer account and do not know your installed version and your OS.
You can find instructions on how to restore the files or exclude them from the scan:

Premium customers with a valid licence can contact the support team directly from their customer account under "Support". Here in the community, a public forum, we unfortunately do not have access to your customer account and your installation.
If something is still unclear, please let us know, we will be pleased to help.Kind regards

I was NOT asking how to submit offending programs to Avira. I already know that.
I was NOT asking how to restore files from quarentine. I already know that, too,.
What I'm asking is how to prevent Avira from blindly adding a file to quarentine and instead immediately ask me if I want it moved to Q or added to the exclude list.
Installed version is 1.1.72.30659 on Win10.
