    Hello Luis,

    Well, you are using a different email address for this board here than your purchase was sent. So please use the email address and password which you have used for purchasing Avira to login to your account and grab access to your license.

    I followed the instructions on how to take the final steps to setting up Avira (the free option) so as to remove the red dot from the logo. I was advised to go to "Subscriptions" in the left hand panel of the "My Account" page (which incidentally doesn't exist in Safari - I had to open Chrome to find it). The instructions were to uninstall Avira then re-install it, and that the Subscriptions page would provide the necessary licence details to allow this. The page says "No active subscriptions" and there is no information leading towards a re-install.

    What now?

    Hello Ian,

    Unfortunately I don't really understand your question.
    If you want to install an Avira Free Version, you can download and install it from     https://www.avira.com/en/free-antivirus-mac   

    If the installation does not run correctly, you can uninstall it with a new installation:   https://support.avira.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003162153-How-do-I-uninstall-my-Avira-product- 

    and for installation:
    https://www.avira.com/en/free-antivirus-mac 

    However, if you have purchased a license (e.g. Antivirus Pro), this is stored in your customer account under subscriptions when you purchase the license. From there you can log in to your customer account with the e-mail address used during the purchase and install the license from there by clicking "Install":  https://support.avira.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000736865-How-do-I-reinstall-my-activated-Avira-product- 

    Important during installation is the difference between a paid version of Avira and the Avira Free version.
