AVIRA has scammed me out of £85.99 -
Avira has taken £85.99 out of my account [ via PayPal ] not only without notice in email but without any interaction from my part. Said to see that costumer services is snoozing, as it took me ages to find a way to login [ as I've never really registered for a start ] and then I sent 'em my problem's description, phone number and I've gotta believe they'd call me back, eh?! I want my money back, people, and I'd like Avira to stop buying people's details from phishing companies, so this mix-up wouldn't hapen. I'm using AVAST for a long time, no need for Avira, there's no way I've ever agreed to pay for any of their services [ never had anything installed from them ] as I've an ongoing subscription from Avast, I'm not stupid to sling 86 pounds out the window for another [ less capable ] product! As of now 24 hours I'm dealing with this, PayPal got my report of fraudulent account activity, and I've sent report to the Cyber Crime unit of the Police as well, but would like Avira to refund my money before the bodies mentioned above will request it from them. It'd be easier and faster. Even better would be if Avira had style and stopped scamming people. One of their support team cronies posted in the Community that no unauthorized payments are being taken, yet hundreds of people have issues with the company's rip-offs, and usually hundreds of users aren't wrong. Avira should be a brand , but it seems they're cheap scammers, on the brink of bankruptcy as they find it needed to use sneak-renewal methods, no e-mail notification and refuse to reply. ... C'mon now. £85.99 is owed to me, will not let it go. It's not 24 hours yet that the money's taken, surely there's a way to refund my cash.
