Each purchased Avira license is assigned to a My Avira Account created during the acquisition. The account contains information about Avira licenses, subscriptions, devices and personal information.
You can access the corresponding My Avira Account via the installed Avira app on the device without the log-in information.
We recommend to restrict the account access from the device if more than one person is using the same device. Also when purchasing a multi-device license, it is recommended to restrict the account access from all other devices.
1. Log in to your Avira account or click the user icon in your Avira product.
2. Go to Devices.
3. Search the device for which you want to restrict access and click View device details.
4. Hover mouse over the Settings icon and choose Restrict access.
5. Confirm the Pop-up. Access from the Avira product to your Avira account is now restricted.

Access to your Avira account is now only possible via the Web Browser.
