Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get anything fixed with Avira Has been 14 days and virus scanner still not working
CompletedThis is the first time that I bought Avira Prime and for the past 14 days it has not worked. Have sent four emails asking for help but no one has emailed me back telling me what is wrong or how to fix it. Is this usual for Avira. Do they normally ignore their customers in this way?

Hello Gayle,
To answer you, how long it will take to repair errors in your Avira installation by yourself depends on your information in your request to the support. Only with a detailed description of the error with information about your installation, it is possible to send you instructions on how to repair your installation. Here you can find the instructions to the most important information (both with current updates: OS with version number and Avira version with version number) to get a guide to the error in your installation, see: "How to create a post?".

You already had several contacts and requests for the support. Therefore, it is recommended to continue contacting the support team with meaningful information in your ticket about your issue, so that they can help you with instructions on how to resolve your issue. This is also useful to avoid time-consuming duplicate processing.
Unfortunately, questions about the license or installation can only be handled by you via support in compliance with the GDPR - you can reach them under the email address of the order with your subscription reference number via your Avira customer account by email, chat or (partly) phone. It makes sense to always write in 1 ticket created by yourself, each further newly created ticket gets a new currently consecutive entry number and is appended to the end of all existing tickets. This will automatically increase the waiting time for your ticket to be answered, but the progress of your requests can be viewed immediately by the support-team. Thank you for your understanding.
Kind regards
