Starting September 6, 2023, full virus scan freezes after scanning about 50,000 files
CompletedStarting two days ago - Sept. 6, 2023 - when I try to run a full scan, Avira goes through about 50,000 files and then freezes. This last time, the name of the file is "pfwres.dll" though it has been other files. I have uninstalled and re-installed Avira and updated it, and the quick scan works fine. But the full file scan continues to bomb out. Any idea why?
