CompletedI am trying to find out why I have not received a product key to active my Avira security. I was billed and paid 8/7/23. Chat support is totally unhelpful and you can't get product support without it. It's a catch 22 and so far am totally unhappy with how it's been handled.

So far it appears I've lost a month of benefits I've paid for without the key.

Your information about your licence is not understandable for us. A product key is not sent by Avira.
Avira does not use an activation code or product key. All products can be downloaded and managed directly via the customer account under subscriptions at: https://my.avira.com/en/dashboard/home.
You have received a reference number. This means that the purchased product is activated directly on your customer account and can be installed immediately from there. The purchased licence is available for you to use from the date you receive the reference number! Only you can register your purchased licence correctly.
Each subscription purchased in the Avira online shop is assigned to a customer account, which is always assigned to the e-mail address used for the purchase and is automatically activated under this e-mail address.
If this is not displayed in your customer account, the access data is incorrect. You have stored several email addresses in your Avira customer account.Please log in to your customer account with your access data (email address and the password you selected for this subscription), after which your previously purchased Avira Prime will be displayed in your customer account and can be installed directly from there.
Premium customers with a valid licence and correct registration can contact the support team directly from the customer account under "SUPPORT": via email, support chat and (partly) telephone.
In the chat contact, the digital assistant has pointed out the correct registration to you. "I am here to help, but my assistance is limited to your subscription level. If you have an account, please log in for premium support services." The correct login is urgently required to avoid wasting time and effort
