Why is it that Avira Antivirus is installed, files are in quarantine, but I can't open Avira Security to get the files out?

    You are writing here in the Avira COMMUNITY, a publicly accessible FORUM - an ‘user2user’ forum. From here we have neither access to your Avira CUSTOMER ACCOUNT and the latest updates and to your installed operating system with the latest installed update version number nor to your quarantined messages. 

    Avira Antivirus? Or Avira Security? Please specify: Avira Free or purchased Avira licence? 

    There is no access to your settings from here, the publicly accessible Avira Community.

    Hello Gerard,

    The Avira "We could not authenticate you" error usually means the login information you entered was incorrect or the Avira account is not linked to the product. It could also be due to a new device or browser login that Avira detected and is asking you to confirm.

    The access data and the correct login can only be checked by the account holder, only he has access to his data. We cannot provide any information on this, we do not have access to your customer account or your installation. Please check your login details, that's what the error message says.

    Your  The community pages keep going in a (buggy) loop saying "We could not authenticate you"  ⇒ This message is correct, you are not logged into the Avira customer account with an Avira licence.

    Avira is subject to the strict requirements of the GDPR and can only be processed and responded to by email using the Avira SUPPORT in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation. 

    Here in the publicly accessible Avira FORUM, contact by e-mail is technically not possible. E-mail contact to the Avira SUPPORT only works on the basis of your Avira licence directly via your Avira customer account.  Thank you for your understanding.

    I'm not able to fill in my login information in Avira Security, because I can't open Avira Security. The same issue that prevents me to access the quarantined files. I need help please !!

    Where can I find the log files that list the quarantined files?

    You have already been informed several times about the correct registration, with exact descriptions of the required and prescribed minimum information for your request. This is now the 3rd attempt to point out the correct AVIRA-login.

    Unfortunately, we cannot follow your statement: ‘I'm not able to fill in my login information in Avira Security, because I can't open Avira Security.’?

    These minimum details and the exact information required - so that potential helpers can get an idea of your problem - were provided to you in the Avira Community Guidelines: ‘How to create a post - Details matter!’ See once more:

    You have not included this much-needed information, not even providing details of your installed OS with the latest update version number and your last Avira software update with version number!

    Once more:
    Your comment: ‘I can't open Avira Security (which is the normal way to accomplish that).’ is not possible in free use as a user of the Avira Free software, because neither a purchased Avira licence is stored in your Avira customer account nor are you registered there as an Avira customer.

    The legally required access to your licence and your installation - GDPR-compliant by email - is only possible via Avira 'SUPPORT'.  This way to your licence and your installation is not possible here in the Avira ‘FREE’ version, in this publicly accessible forum.
