    Hello

I also have this problem (missing Avira icon) in the taskbar, on both my laptop and my desktop pc.

It startet a few days/week ago, and I think maybe it have something to do with latest Windows updates. On my desktop pc, the Avira icon dissapeared after latest Windows update. Tried to do a repair install of Avira antivirus. Then everything looked ok. But next time I startet my desktop pc, the Avira icon was missing again in the taskbar.

I know Avira antivirus is running when checking the meny "Safety and maintenance". But if the Avira icon is missing in the taskbar I have check the meny for "Safety and maintenance" every time I start my computers to be sure.

This happened after the Update of Avira Free and the last Microsoft updates last Friday.

Please fix this. It does not leave a good impression for a professional Antivirus Company.

Avira pro no longer appears on the startup bar, reinstalling after a few days the same problem. Windows 10 home licensed, updated to date.

Problem reported 3 days ago and Jørn Østeng.
What to do, exchange the antivirus with another company? eset nod, norton, kaspersky

Same here. I think problem is not in antivirus. Avira Launcher does not start for unknown reason. Starting Avira.Systray.exe helps but after next reboot it does not work again. Reinstalling Launcher also helps but after 1-5 reboots icon disappears again.

And what confidence I have that I defend myself from threats, when he defects he deals with deletions. I'll replace it with everything. Avira officials what guard?

Two days after the announcement, it appeared again on the start and on the bar, solved without doing any action.  I mention that I have a 5 PC license, only one had this anomaly.

It looks like the problem with missing Avira icon in the taskbar is solved, with the latest update from Windows, (KB4551762).

Same issue here, even after the latest windows 10 home update. The workaround of Stephan Nicolay works well, but needs to be repeated each time. Please fix this bug.

Amer this fix did not work. Not sure what is going on with pro. I'm still not showing my icon even after stopping and starting service host. Avira needs to fix this. You pay for pro and expect it to work properly and it just simply isn't. I have no icon in my system tray at all. And have yet to find a fix for this. Are you doing anything about his avira?
