How to disable automatic scan?

I have the antivirus installed on my laptop, which cannot handle memory-intensive tasks (running scans being one of them). Every time I boot up my Windows system; it automatically starts two scanning processes using up to 200MB of ram each, despite not having a setting telling it to. My 1.5 GB RAM laptop can't handle such tasks as they draining my battery. I'm can’t do work well too with these unnecessary use of memory running along. I DO NOT have these automatic scans set up and I think there is no way of turning it OFF using the UI. Please fix this.

  You have not specified which version of Avira is installed.

  For the Free Version:

  For the Avira Antivirus Pro version the scan settings:
  https://support.avira.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003138874-How-do-I-schedule-a-scan-with-Avira-Antivirus- 

  The "Quick scan" of Avira Antivirus is activated by default.
