    Hello Monica,

    For a license purchased in the Avira Online Shop, it is not necessary to enter a license number/activation code. The license is activated immediately upon purchase to the email address with which the license was purchased. If you do not find any subscriptions in your customer account, this means that you are not logged in with the e-mail address with which the invoice was sent to you. There are  2  email addresses in your Avira customer account.

    When paying via PayPal, you should enter the delivery address, otherwise a new email address will be created, see:

    The message should no longer appear if the correct e-mail address is used for activation.

    Hi pasha 45,

    When I log into my account, this is what I get( i have attached a screenshot)

    The icon at the top bar of my screen states I have the free version running, not pro.

    Hello Monica,

    You have 2 email addresses in your Avira customer account.
    Please log in to your Avira customer account with the email address that was used when you purchased the license and when you received the invoice.
    Your activated license will be displayed under Subscription and you can start this process by clicking on "Install".
    An activation code is no longer displayed in the customer account.
    You can get an activation code when you buy your license at a dealer (e.g. eBay).

    Again, it is important to enter the e-mail address that you used when purchasing the license
    was used to log into your customer account.
    The license is not stored on this e-mail address with which you write here. The other e-mail address with the deposited license still has to be verified.
