Can't delete file com.avira.scanservice
Hello, i tried to uninstall on my Mac, but the file "com.avira.scanservice" couldn't be deleted. Please help. Thanks!

I uninstalled the program, but one file "com.avira.scanservice.systemextension" couldn't be deleted because i didn't have the necessary rights.

Hello Christian,
If uninstallation fails it might helps if you install Avira and uninstall it - as described in the article - again. This makes sure, that all entries are written correctly.

Edit: I can't install it again, because i couldn't even complete the installation the first time and this is the reason why i wanted to delete it in the first place.
I completed the first 4 steps of the installation, but when i grant access to my disk, the installer doesn't recognize it and i can't complete the 5th and 6th step of the installation process. The button "done" in the installer window is faded out and i can't click anything, the installer always seems to get stuck after the completion of step 4.

I've tried everything from the various "Can't delete com.avira.scanservice"-Threads on the Avira-support-network.
After uninstalling and reinstalling AVIRA several times and trying all other tips from the support site, the "com.avira.scanservice"-process still is running.
I've already wasted several hours. Please submit a REAL how-to delete com.avira.scanservice and not just provide the link to the Avira-Uninstaller-Support Site. Many thanks in advance.
