Avira does not open
the Avira security program downloaded for free from your site for about 10 days DOES NOT open by clicking on the program icon: turning on the PC in the taskbar at the bottom right, the icon appears and it seems that everything is fine ... but clicking either with the right or the left button the program DOES NOT open, the screen with the green cursor is displayed and after a while the program "does not respond" and you have to close it forcibly. For the rest it says "protected computer" and also updates every 2 hours.
Why all this?

Windows 7 service pack 2 on pc with I7 quadcore processor and 3 gb of ram;
I have not made any changes to the program;
i re-downloaded and reinstalled avira free but without starting the pc in safe mode (and i don't want to do it);
the program did not detect viruses.Best regards.

First of all, you should consider that the WIN 7 operating system is an old OS and has not been updated by Microsoft for a long time.
Technology is constantly changing, which can lead to complications with the old software.
Since it is probably no longer a correct installation, you could try to uninstall this version, clean it up and then reinstall it cleanly:For your safety, we would recommend that you consider an up-to-date operating system.

Hello, trying to uninstall Avira from the control panel 2 options were presented: "uninstall" and "repair". By selecting the second option the system has "fixed" Avira Security which is now working fine.
