    Hello Chris,

    The Avira Online Shop has not delivered a code for a long time, the license is activated directly on the e-mail address used for the order and can be installed directly from the customer account.

    Unfortunately, you did not tell us the exact name of the license and the purchase date of this license. Both details are critical and important! In the case of the "error" message, please provide exact details.

    Please check when you purchased the license from Amazon and contact Amazon with your proof of purchase. It is also described that only licenses purchased in the Avira Shop are documented by the e-mail of the order. 
    The proof of purchase - with the date of purchase - is the important document for making a complaint to Amazon.
