Avira scanning then shut down my computer every start up

Every morning when I turn on my laptop (Window 10 Home) avira will run a scan in the background then a pop up that gives me 300 seconds to click the cancel button otherwise it would shut down my laptop. It is annoying because if I missed this I have to restart the computer again and again. How to disable this? The old version of Avira actually gave me more control in the setting, not anymore. More annoying, I can see that there is a number of users posting the same problems and you never publish the remedy. Why?

  We are sorry that you are having difficulties with the Avira license.
  Unfortunately, you did not tell us which Avira version you have installed. We also do not know what was offered in your old version and which settings you are missing now.
  Have you already done a repair installation? See:
