The Avira Support Collector is part of Avira Support, and provides a detailed error analysis of your system, so that Avira Support engineers can quickly locate the problems.
Note
Collecting the support information can take some minutes to several hours, depending on the speed of your computer and the selected operating mode of the Support Collector.
1. Download the Support Collector on the affected system.
2. Run the downloaded file with a double-click.
3. The user information fields are not mandatory.
4. Change the Support Collector mode only if you have been told beforehand by an Avira support engineer, otherwise is no change required.
5. Click Start.
Note
If the Support Collector hangs at a certain point and does not run through, quit the Collector. Restart your system in safe mode and run the Support Collector once again.
6. Once the Support Collector has collected the required information an archive AVSUPINF.7Zwill be saved on your desktop.
7. Send us the AVSUPINF.7Z archive by email. Use the reply function of the received Avira e-mail. This will ensure that the archive reaches the right agent immediately and can be processed as quickly as possible.
