    First, we have deleted your email address for your security.

    You're upset, but something didn't go right with your order and the cancellation of your subscription. There are rules that should be followed if you don't want to get into trouble.

    Please read the following instructions on how to cancel a licence and get a refund.
    If you do not cancel a subscription, it will continue to be delivered for a fee.
    Simply deleting an account does not cancel the subscription.

    If you log in with the correct access data of your account with the paid subscriptions, you will also get in touch with the support - by e-mail or phone

    When you delete your account, you will be notified that all data will be deleted.

    If you paid with PayPal, did you leave the delivery address so that PayPal does not have to create a new account for you?

    You certainly have a receipt for your outstanding debts. There you should find all the important data, such as the e-mail address of the order and the transaction code, to comment on these claims or to cancel them.
    Once again: Deleting the account does not cancel the subscription.

    Hello,
    no, it doesn’t help as I have cancelled my subscription few months ago and deleted the account, as you advised me. Hence I do not have access to that account as it doesn’t exist any more. Additionally, why are you charging me 4x the amount I initially agreed to pay every month??? The case is not with paypal as it is impossible to get any help from you. I don’t understand what you are referring as to “outstanding debts” or delivery address with paypal. Paypal was actually trying to contact you as well on my behalf and they admitted themselves that this is impossible task. I cannot believe that you’re allowed to take money out of peoples accounts in unauthorised way, not to mention 4 times the agreed amount! Cancel my subscription as I have no access to it or give me anything i can refer to, this should be reported to watchdog!

    Hello Anna,

    Questions regarding your licence or Avira payment processing can only be processed by the support team via your customer account by email in compliance with the GDPR.

    Since you cancelled your subscription before deleting the account, it may be possible for Avira to initiate a review of the process - especially since PayPal can help with the transaction ID and email address. The email addresses are subject to strict regulations.
    We would like to try to solve your case by email and exchange personal data, but we can no longer access your deleted account.
    We would therefore open an e-mail ticket here, which will be sent to your e-mail address used here. Afterwards, the contribution will be forwarded to the support team and the necessary data can be exchanged for clarification in accordance with the GDPR.

    However, your consent is required for this. Therefore, please confirm that this is OK for you.
