Scam subscription.
Sorry. About one year ago I received an email from Avira (!?) asking me to subscribe at 1 euro for the first year the upgranding to Premium. now I received an automatic charge on my Paypal account of 34.95 euro without any forewarning. I would have liked to cancel the subscription but on you site, in My Avira, I didn't find any subscription and when I verified the sender of the email, I discovered it was Cleverbridge.com. I think it's a scam, and I donn't know now how to cancel the subscription on their site. The charge is automatic on Paypal. I hope you can help me and, anyway, to report to official Avira this situation. thank you very much. Mara Pantanella.

Cleverbridge is responsible for the payment of the ordered license, that is correct.
You have accepted Avira's offer. Now you will receive the extension, if you have not deactivated it in your customer account. It is pointed out that the amount is only valid for 1 year, after that, it will be updated to the current list price.
You have the option of deactivating the automatic licence renewal in your customer account, a desired setting is available to you.You can set the automatic licence renewal according to your wishes, see:
